Bill to get rid of MD cap on noneconomic damages is reintroduced

“Maryland would get rid of its cap on noneconomic damages in civil lawsuits under a bill pending, once again, before the General Assembly.

The reintroduction of the bill by Del. Natalie Ziegler, D-Howard, who is sponsoring the bill for the third year in a row, has reanimated a debate between personal injury victims and the business community.”
